Bill began his career steeped in the acoustic music scene in Chautauqua County, NY. Breaking for Austin, TX for a moment in the '70s, he then returned to NY to hold up the folk/acoustic music flag for good. His ground-breaking release, "Highway in the Desert," is a testament to his skill as a composer and bandleader.A skilled performer and promoter, Bill Ward has garnered a fan base of thousands.
Bill Ward continues to make music and promote the arts in Western NY through live performances, recording, and workshops. He is also the host of two weekly music series, in which Bill welcomes a vast array of musical guests from throughout the east coast.
